Blackheart, the debut game from NZ studio Hyporeal, has just revealed an official launch date of October 30th with a brand new trailer.
Blackheart is based on two books, Azriel Blackheart: The Dark Mage and Azriel Blackheart: The Chosen, written by studio founder and director, Josiah Hunt. “Blackheart combines action RPG and top-down shooter elements to tell a tragic tale centred around the royal Blackheart family and the internal conflicts that are consuming them from the inside out.”
Hyporeal is a studio based in Dunedin, formed in 2020 with a focus on creating games with “rich narratives and engaging worlds”.
