You’ve got your horse in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, you get distracted and run a fair distance away, and you can’t quite remember where you put the horse? Where’s the call button? You check the controller layout, and it’s not there.
Can you call your horse in Oblivion? No, not in vanilla Oblivion, at least not without mods. What happens if you lose your horse then? Is it gone forever?
You need to fast travel to a city, and the horse will be transported to the nearest stables , with a small prompt saying this whenever you travel to a city. Sure, it’s a pain if you’re in the middle of exploring, but given Oblivion’s generous fast travel system, even if you’ve never been to the city before, this isn’t too bad.
However, an official call horse button would be nice. Maybe that officially might come soon?
This is just a small article letting you know how to retrieve your horse after you’ve lost it, as this appears to be quite a common question! Be sure to stay tuned to GamesNight for more helpful tips in The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered.
