Pikpok, New Zealand’s biggest game development studio, has announced their “very first public Steam demo” for their upcoming game, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, which will release on October 28th, just in time for Halloween.
Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is a side-scrolling shelter survival game set in 1980s Texas. A zombie outbreak has overrun Walton City, and players are tasked with “guiding a desperate group of zombie apocalypse survivors to safety. Craft weapons, scavenge resources, balance your group’s needs, and try to get everyone out of danger alive.”
The Steam demo will be a pre-alpha build available to the public for the first time before the game hits early access sometime next year. For all developments on Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, players can follow their Discord and also offer feedback and thoughts during the zombie survival’s development.
