PS5 Price Increases in New Zealand, Australia and Europe

PS5 Price Increase NZ

Sony has announced that the PlayStation 5 console will be increasing its price in select markets within New Zealand, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The PlayStation 5 Pro model will not change in price. The reasoning for the increase is cited as “challenging economic environment, including high inflation and fluctuating exchange rates”. Notably, the price has not been increased in the US market, a market that is soon to be hit by tariffs that have even caused the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders to be delayed in the US.

This price increase is effective from now according to Sony, with some storefronts changing at a later date. Areas are listed below, as per the original pricing information provided by Sony.
