Stellar Blade’s Nier: Automata collaboration DLC is set for November 20th.
As announced on the Playstation Blog, Stellar Blade’s Nier: Automata DLC is releasing November 20th. This update will bring a few new features, such as…
Nier: Automata Items/Costumes
If you couldn’t tell when playing, Stellar Blade is heavily inspired by Nier: Automata. Fueled by mutual respect between these two studios, players can expect to find Emil’s Shop (an odd character from Nier: Automata) in Stellar Blade. This shop will have eleven special items available, including costumes like the one above.
Photo Mode
Stellar Blade will now offer a photo mode, giving players the opportunity to capture many moments on the battlefield or during exchanges between characters. Offering different filters, camera angles and poses for players to share with the Stellar Blade community.
General Updates + QOL Changes
On top of this Nier: Automata collaboration, players will also find
- 4 new costumes
- An Accessory “Symbol of Legacy” that “changes the appearance and presentation of the Tachy Mode when equipped.”
- Lip-sync support for six additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish)
- Eve now has a “No Ponytail” option when choosing Ponytail Length.
- Auto-targeting and ballistics correction features will be applied to the enemy insta-kill skills.
Stellar Blade was released in April on PlayStation 5 and has gone on to sell over 1 million copies, as announced by the developer, Shift Up. A PC release of Stellar Blade is expected sometime in 2025, as announced in a recent earnings report from the development team.
