Rebel Wolves have revealed the debut trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, a new dark fantasy action RPG.
The Blood Of Dawnwalker, the debut game from Rebel Wolves, has revealed its first trailer. Published by Bandai Namco, this exciting new title is “a single-player open-world dark fantasy AAA RPG with a strong focus on story and narrative”.
Set to be the first chapter in this brand new role-playing saga, “set in an alternative 14th century, where feudal lords have been overthrown by a clique of powerful vampires. Players take on the role of Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker—not fully human, not entirely a vampire…”
The Blood Of Dawnwalker has a very strong team behind it, with Rebel Wolves being co-founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Many other members of this new Polish studio also come from The Witcher 3 alumni, including Bartłomiej Gaweł (art director) and Jakub Szamałek (writer).
The cinematic trailer showcases events two years before the game, introducing Coen and his sister Lunka and giving a glimpse at in-engine gameplay of this blood-soaked world.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt set a new standard for modern RPGs and arguably is still one of the best in the genre to this day. With a solid team behind this new debut title, it’s looking very promising already.
The Blood Of Dawnwalker is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Interested players can keep up with the latest news on the official website: dawnwalkergame.com.
