This year, rules have been changed to allow for DLCs, remakes, remasters and expansions to now be nominated in all categories. Leading the nominations with seven nominations each is Astro Bot & Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, with Metaphor: ReFantazio coming close with six nominations.
The Game Awards 2024 will be streaming ” live and free across all major digital, social, and gaming platforms around the world”.
