Tokyo GameShow 2024 – Playstation Line Up Announced 

For the first time in five years, Sony is making a significant return to the Tokyo Game Show, bringing an impressive lineup of both first and third-party titles. Among the highlights is the first public demo of the PS5 Pro, just announced last week. The Tokyo Game Show 2024 runs from September 26 to September 29.

Playable Demos Include:

  • Astro Bot
  • Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
  • Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
  • Dynasty Warriors: Origins
  • Infinity Nikki
  • Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
  • Metaphor: ReFantazio
  • Monster Hunter Wilds
  • Neva
  • Sonic X Shadow Generations

Additionally, two PS5 Pros will be showcasing enhanced versions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Gran Turismo 7.

In conjunction with the playable demos, Sony has lined up several presentations throughout the event.

Key Presentation Dates:

  • September 26:
    • An Astro Bot presentation, likely featuring upcoming add-ons and expanded modes for the well received title.
    • An Indie Showcase hosted by Shuhei Yoshida, head of PlayStation’s indie department.
  • September 28:
    • Three panels dedicated to Silent Hill 2 Remake, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, and Metaphor: ReFantazio—all titles nearing release.
  • September 29:
    • A major showcase for Death Stranding 2, expected to last around 60 minutes, followed by presentations for Monster Hunter Wilds and Dynasty Warriors Origins.

All presentations will be available to stream on YouTube.

Sony is returning to TGS with a large amount of presentations,, other games are expected to be announced by other attendees such as Sega and their subsidiary Atlus.

    Its tough trying to avoid all the MonHun presentations. Feels like they’re doing them at every show now
