Top Selling Games NZ (October 21st – 27th 2024)

Top Selling Video Games October

After a few weeks absence, we’re back with another sales update for New Zealand video games! Due to a busy few weeks in PAX AUS and Melbourne Games Week, sales numbers did not update for the ANZ region.

1. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6

2. Hogwarts Legacy

3. Dirt Rally 2.0

4. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero

5. Red Dead Redemption 2

6. EA Sports FC 25

7. Sonic X Shadow Generations

8. Grand Theft Auto V

9. NBA 2K25

10. Fallout 4

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 bursts onto the sales charts at number one. Call Of Duty is one of the top-selling video game series of all time, and this entry will be no different for the blockbuster franchise.

Hogwarts Legacy usually hangs around the top ten but has risen all the way to number two, possibly thanks to news about a sequel, along with the game being a prime candidate for a family-friendly Christmas present.

Dirt Rally 2.0 had its lowest price drop since release, dropping down to $2.47 on Steam, boosting its sales all the way to number three. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero continues to see good numbers a month after release at number four.

Charts mainstay, Red Dead Redemption 2 is at number five; we may also see the original title (Red Dead Redemption 1) make its way onto charts in the coming weeks, thanks to it finally releasing on PC. EA Sports FC 25 drops down from it’s previous number one position but will likely float around the charts over the coming holiday season.

Sonic X Shadow Generations released this week and saw strong sales, placing it at number seven. We may see this position fluctuate as we near the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in December.

Chart regulars Grand Theft Auto V and NBA 2K25 continue their sales dominance at the lower half of this week’s sales. Fallout 4 sees a reappearance in the charts thanks to a historical low discount of $11.53. With the release of the Fallout London mod, you can’t go wrong with this very low price point for arguably one of the greatest RPG’s of all time.
