The Developer_Direct has a more hands-on approach with studios, offering presentations from the developers themselves. In this showcase, we can expect to see the following:
South Of Midnight – Compulsion Games (Montreal, Canada)

Coming from the developers of We Happy Few and Contrast, Compulsion Games will be offering another look at South of Midnight. A third-person action-adventure game set in the Deep South of America. Players take on the role of Hazel as they explore creatures and mythos inspired by Southern folklore. Here’s hoping we can expect a release date for the title! Previous titles from Compulsion Games have been filled with unique ideas; South Of Midnight may very well elevate the studio to the next level.
DOOM: The Dark Ages – id Software (Richardson, Texas)

Doom: The Dark Ages takes us back to where it all began, showing us the origins of the Doom Slayer’s rage. This is the third title in the modern DOOM series, taking players to a dark medieval war against Hell. This showcase will give us a full reveal and what to expect in this never-before-seen setting for DOOM.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Sandfall Interactive (Montpellier, France)

Players will get a behind-the-scenes look at Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the debut title from Sandfall Interactive. A turn-based RPG with unique, real-time mechanics, including a voice cast of big names such as Ben Starr, Charlie Cox, and Andy Serkis. The developer direct will dive into the studio’s story and the details behind this great fantasy world.
Also, a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game.

We are also left with “a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game.” Of course, that probably isn’t the above-pictured Oblivion Remake, but considering there have been a bunch of rumors of late about a potential reveal, I couldn’t not put it here.
Other potential reveals from other Xbox studios include Double Fine, Toys for Bob (still making a title for the Xbox platform despite buying themselves out of the Activision acquisition), and also, dare I say it, Team Cherry with the ever-elusive Hollow Knight: Silksong. We can dream, can’t we?
